Judging Commences 9.45 a.m.

Seminar 9.45 a.m.

This year the seminar organiser, Ron Pearce, has brought us Christian Back from Germany. Their presentation is entitled, “Where Are Show Budgerigars Going?” and promises to be very informative and thought provoking.

Show Opens 2.45 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.

Judging of Area Society & Trade Stands 4.30 p.m.

There will be many Trade Stands at the show meaning you can stock up on all your supplies and avoid costly postage. Talk to the manufacturers and retailers about their products and find out what is best for your birds.

Another great opportunity is to pay your subscriptions for the coming year to your Area or Specialist Society.

Visitor Experience See some great banners depicting previous Club Show Best in Show Winners and Club Show Greats. Take the opportunity to suggest the next Club Show Greats.

Budgerigar Society Stand A chance to purchase Budgerigar Society products, pay your subscriptions and order your rings. Meet members of the Budgerigar Society Team and General Council.

Sales Birds Looking for new blood, that elusive outcross or even to try a new variety? The Sales Section is a great place to look. Quick tip – be early!

Grand Raffle – Adrian Richards our Social Events Organiser has

taken on the organisation of the Grand Raffle. These tickets will be on sale over the Show weekend at £1 per ticket.

One Night’s Bed and Breakfast at The Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, Doncaster.
Round of Golf for 4 donated by Wheatley Golf Club, Doncaster,
Bags of Seed donated by BS major sponsor Countrywide Seed.

Fun Raffles – This year Julie Ainley is organising a number of fun raffles throughout the weekend. Please support Julie and hopefully you will be lucky to win one of the many prizes on offer.

Gala Dinner

At Wheatley Golf Club, Armthorpe Road, Doncaster, DN2 5QB. Featuring – Top Marks – Born In The 80’s Tribute. Meet at 7 P.M. for Dinner At 7.30 p.m.

Grand Auction – 1.30 p.m.

Adrian Richards has also organised a Grand Auction of Birds and bird related items. These include the following lots:

A Brand New Trespa Budgerigar Show Cage donated by WBO judge Sammy Adams.

Grand Presentation 2.30 p.m. – The Club Show culminates with the Grand Presentation of awards. The impressive array of trophies will be presented by the Budgerigar Society President, Chris Snell, which will be followed by the Raffle.

Lifting Time – 4.00 p.m.

And finally…………..

For a number of people, the show is not over until the staging is dismantled and stored away. If you have an hour to spare, please stay behind and give a hand.
