The Budgerigar Society - LOVE PETS SHOW – PETERBOROUGH
Following on from Geoff Capes being invited to open the “Love Pets Show” at Peterborough on Saturday & Sunday 27th & 28th November, The Budgerigar Society was then invited to have a stand at the event.
The show was organised by JP Events and Anglia Newspapers and despite
the snow and cold weather, attracted between 7000 and 8000 visitors.
The Budgerigar Society stand had a display of about 20 different coloured
budgerigars which attracted much interest over the weekend.
There were copies of our magazine “The Budgerigar” available to take away free of charge and copies of the Stan & Barbara Moizer book, “Budgerigars, A Complete Guide” were also used as promotional material, Geoff giving some copies away as prizes for people answering questions correctly during his presentations.
